The Rake is a hidden gem in Newcastle. I’d previously struggled to find a local men’s clothing store which offered high quality, unique brands. Since discovering it, I’ve bought a number of items over recent months, all of which have received many compliments from friends. Rob offers a personal approach to customer service and is always happy to assist and make recommendations if needed. I also recently made use of the same day local delivery service which was extremely convenient. I highly recommend checking this place out!

My favorite men's-wear shop in Newcastle! There is a really nice selection of men's clothes here. It's definitely a carefully curated mix of clothes that are all very fashionable and trendy. I love the styles and choices available, the clothes in the shop change frequently enough that I like to pop in whenever I need something new. I always spot something on the way out the door that I want as well it seems! The are also some cool gift and decor items, some of which I've received as gifts and really enjoy. The best part about The Rake though is the owner, Rob. He's very friendly and helpful, helps me out with sizing and styles and is super knowledgeable about every item in the shop. He can tell me that I'm going to want to try a size up or down with a particular article for example, which is is really nice and makes it easier to shop. Its the sort of thing that may come standard in a women's fashion place, but I rarely experience it in men's fashion stores. He's also great for a chat and each time I've gone in it's like visiting a friend. I can't recommend it enough!

Enjoyed my experience at The Rake, a boutique men’s apparel store. Cody was very helpful and knowledgeable about the brands. This is a great place to find unique gems and overseas labels. This is a fantastic addition to the Newcastle scene. I walked away with a French, armour lux t-shirt.

Had the best experience shopping here with Cody! He’s great at making conversation and left us a great impression with his awesome vibe. Gave us some great recommendations for food and other jewellery stores. Thanks Cody! The clothes here are amazing too. Bought two tshirts and I am in love with them.
